The Low Light Innovation MH-1 Night Vision Goggles are crafted from aerospace-grade magnesium and titanium alloys, the MH-1 is a perfect blend of ruggedness and lightweight design, tipping the scales at just 15.9 ounces with lightweight optics. The MH-1 is truly modular, allowing users to swap power supplies in minutes, choosing between CR123A, AA, and more. Its modularity extends to the ability to split the device into two monoculars using the upcoming Modular Bridge System (MBS). What sets the MH-1 apart is its manual gain night vision feature, which can be achieved via direct plug-in without any soldering, ensuring your tubeโ€™s warranty remains intact.

Custom Night Vision offers the MH-1 in three colors (Black, ODG and FDE) with the following tube options:

  1. L3 Harris Filmless White Supergain
  2. L3Harris Filmless White
  3. Elbit Thin Film White
  4. Photonis Green and White
  5. NNVT White

From the dropdown menu you can sell which tube manufacture and which actual set of tubes you would like to order.ย  Actual specs and photos of each in stock unit are in the drop down menus (please note: color shade of blue/green is due to photo lighting, all tubes will actually be the same light blue in color).

Handpicked Option โ€“ Select this if you want Custom Night Vision to select intensifier tubes for you instead of selecting a set from our inventory. ย We will contact you (typically within 24-48 hours of placing your order) with pictures and specs of tubes we select to ask for your approval. If you have preferences on certain specs (ie: SNR, EBI etcโ€ฆ) please include those in your order notes and we will do our best to meet your goal. ย After customer tube approval the night vision unit will be ready to ship within 1 to 3 business days.

We offer Six choices of Optics:

  1. Brightpath Optics (Built to Mil Spec) – Outstanding value of high quality optics that combine ground and aviation elements; company led by Key Member of Former Qioptiq Excelitas Company. Weight: 3.8 ounces per set.
  2. Standard Mil-Spec Optics – NVD Cage Code – High quality Mil-Spec Optics (Typically Fuji). Found on most Mil-Spec PVS-14 Units. Weight: 4.5 ounces per set.
  3. Standard Mil-Spec Optics – Noctis (Formerly Carson) Cage Code – These are identical to our NVD Cage Code optics (Typically Fuji), but have the Cage Code of Noctis (Former Carson). Weight: 4.5 ounces per optic set.
  4. Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) 3.0 Ultralight – These are the most popular lightweight optic option. ย They are >45% lighter than Standard Mil-Spec Optics. Weight: 2.4 ounces per optic set.
  5. Photonis Defense Boomslang 50 Degree FOV – Lightweight 50 Degree optic system. Weight: 3.5 ounces per optic set
  6. Act in Black 50-Degree FOV – 50 degree optic system offering minimal resolution loss. Weight: 4.7 ounces per optic set.

Housing Swap Only Option โ€“ Includes prepaid label to send your existing night vision goggle, monocular or parts to us. ย We will swap your tubes and/or optics to a new MH-1 Manual Gain housing including collimating and purge. ย All remaining parts will be sent back to the customer with the complete MH-1 Manual Gain goggle.

    Out of any housing I have used this one feels like a Rolex. The tolerances are tight and the modularity is truly unique. Had the opportunity to talk to Claude the owner of LLI for quite a bit and he’s a super down to earth who truly cares about making high quality housings with some of the best end user service I have seen in this industry. I have used alot of L3 units and DTNVS’s as well as milspec 14s, the machining and feel and weight of these tops almost anything I have used to this point. In summary LLI makes high end easily modifiable housings with passion and love for the craft you cannot go wrong with this unit it is totally worth the upgrade. And hey if they break they will warranty so no concerns about running them hard.

    These are really nice housings with all the features one could ever want. CNV did an expert job building the binos and I’m plenty happy with them.
    There is only one “complaint” I have with the MH1, and I brought it up with LLI, and that is the switching on the IR illum. It needs to be a more deliberate setting like it is on the PVS 14 rather than just the next click on the dial. Its too easy to turn the illum on and under certain conditions one may not notice it. That could lead to bad things.
    This would be a 5 star housing otherwise, the thing is beautiful.

    Iโ€™m extremely happy with the light weight and modulation of the MH-1. I like many started with a PVS-14 sold those and now I have ran a BNVD-1431 for a while. I purchased these MH-1 thinking like many others looking at a system that is lightweight, durable and the ability to split the unit into a mono to help introduce other to the world of night vision. I honestly didnโ€™t think of this MH-1 as an upgrade to my BNVD-1431 until I actually got hands on and yes it is an upgrade unit. I can assure you after running the MH-1 hard for two weeks every night that I will be keeping these MH-1 as now my primary googles. I think any person new to the world of night vision or wanting to upgrade from a PVS-14 will find the MH-1 perfect. I donโ€™t consider myself an expert more of a moderate user but I now feel comfortable taking these MH-1 now to sign up for some more advance classes or courses. Finally the team at Custom night vision are fast and straight up not trying to up sell you. I knew what I was looking; Custom night vision didnโ€™t question my thoughts or decisions when purchasing just built me and quality unit at the cost I was happy with. I also liked they provided showed images and specs of the product I was purchasing. I will be purchasing my future Night vision needs from here.

    Purchased LLI MH1’s
    Couldn’t be happier. Light weight, manual gain, dual illuminator, though some folks may gripe about it. It’s there, use it, or not.
    The swithes/knobs are easily accessible for all functions offered with the product.
    What I find interesting, the housings are modular with future plans to add versatility to the product for ones needs. The future will tell as production of components/parts become available.
    The team at Custm Night Vision did a great job of assembling and fast shipping.
