Handpicked Option – Select this if you want Custom Night Vision to select intensifier tubes for you instead of selecting a set from our inventory.  We will contact you (typically within 24-48 hours of placing your order) with pictures and specs of tubes we select to ask for your approval. If you have preferences on certain specs (ie: SNR, EBI etc…) please include those in your order notes and we will do our best to meet your goal.  After customer tube approval the night vision unit will be ready to ship within 1 to 3 business days.

We offer Six choices of Optics:

1. Brightpath Optics (Built to Mil Spec) – Outstanding value of high quality optics that combine ground and aviation elements; company led by Key Member of Former Qioptiq Excelitas Company. Weight: 3.8 ounces per set.
2. Standard Mil-Spec Optics – NVD Cage Code – High quality Mil-Spec Optics (Typically Fuji). Found on most Mil-Spec PVS-14 Units. Weight: 4.5 ounces per set.
3. Standard Mil-Spec Optics – Noctis (Formerly Carson) Cage Code – These are identical to our NVD Cage Code optics (Typically Fuji), but have the Cage Code of Noctis (Former Carson). Weight: 4.5 ounces per optic set.
4. Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) 3.0 Ultralight – These are the most popular lightweight optic option.  They are >45% lighter than Standard Mil-Spec Optics. Weight: 2.4 ounces per optic set.
5. Photonis Defense Boomslang 50 Degree FOV – Lightweight 50 Degree optic system. Weight: 3.5 ounces per optic set
6. Act in Black 50-Degree FOV – 50 degree optic system offering minimal resolution loss. Weight: 4.7 ounces per optic set.

L3 SuperGain Filmless White Phosphor PVS-14 image intensifier tubes increase the Luminance Gain (Gain) specification for image intensifier tubes from the standard 40,000-80,000 fL/fc to between 100,000-120,000 fL/fc. This greatly increases the image intensifier’s ability to amplify and collect light, resulting in a noticeably brighter image with increased low light performance and extending operational envelope and ability to see into dark areas.  L3 Supergain tubes offer the best low light performance available on the market.

An enhanced, push-button, multi-battery housing with digital circuitry offering up to 75 hours run time, plus a more than 35% weight drop versus traditional housings.

The patented NL914C Power Pack by Nightline, Inc.™ takes the PVS-14 night vision monocular to the next level by rethinking the entire battery housing. Its unique layout allows the use of shorter but more powerful CR123A lithium batteries in the same tray as the AA battery. The user can choose to use CR123A or AA batteries as desired. When used in conjunction with high-draw, filmless white phosphor tubes, it is possible to double or even triple the PVS-14’s run time by using more powerful and longer-lasting, higher voltage CR123A batteries through Nightline’s hardened digital circuitry.

Plus, the design offers significant weight savings: the NL914C Power Pack weighs only 1.6 oz / 45 g total, or approximately 36% less than a traditional single-AA battery housing (which weighs 2.5 oz / 71 g).
