Bridges

  • Monoculars are able to bridge two monoculars together to offer the advantages of an articulating goggle
  • Most popular bridges that work with the PVS-14 and Tanto:
    • Noisefighter Panobridge MK3 Bridge is our most popular bridge due to its excellent price, ability to offer a panning FOV, add-on parts allow it to run thermals and has a lifetime warranty.  This is a 3D printed design with metal hardware.
    • Wilcox Industries Bridge System is includes two 14 adapters that can be removed to run a thermal on either side.  This completely aluminum bridge is the most expensive and heaviest, but has the most adjustments and feels very solid.
    • MOD Armory IC/D-14 Dual Mounting Bridge includes two 14 adapters that can be removed to run a thermal on either side, has a lightweight design and excellent price. This bridge is completely aluminum.

Mounts

The majority of our customers use monoculars with helmet mounted setups to allow for handsfree use.  Night Vision Monoculars require two things to attach to Helmets that have the proper shroud: 1) Transfer Arm and 2) Helmet Mount

  • Transfer Arm: The two most popular transfer arms are the  Noisefighter AX14-Pro  and Wilcox Industries Dovetail Arm.  Both of these arms have the ability to swing monocular in front of either eye.
    • AX14-Pro has quickly become the most popular transfer arm due its low cost, ultralight design and lifetime warranty.
    • The Wilcox Arm with the powered switch has been discontinued and was not very popular due to the finicky nature of the auto off power feature.
  • Helmet Mount:
    • The most popular mount for many years is the Wilcox G24 Mount. Practically all of our night vision customers purchase a G24 to use with their night vision device.
    • Wilcox recently released the G24 Lite Mount that does not contain a magnet (magnet was only used with the discontinued auto off dovetail arm).
    • Due to the cheaper price and lighter weight, the G24 Lite is gaining in popularity and is our go to recommendation.
