FASTโข is a series of optic mounts and platforms that provide end users with a quicker sight picture than standard height mounts. A 2.26โ optical centerline height provides faster/easier reticle acquisition while wearing electronic earpro/communications headsets, night vision goggles and gas masks and allows for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a heads-up posture. A heads-up posture also helps users maintain a neutral spine position which is more comfortable while wearing helmets, plate carriers, and other heavy gear.
FASTโข Riser securely elevates block-type red dot optics with a standard lower 1/3 cowitness picatinny mount to a 2.26โณ optical center line.ย FASTโข Riser provides an elevated M1913 Picatinny platform for direct attachment of optics such as EOTech EXPSยฎ, Leupold LCOยฎ, Vortex UH-1ยฎ, and other โlower 1/3โ optics*.
*Technically, the FASTโข Riser will support โabsolute cowitnessโ optics such as EOTech XPSยฎ, Sig Sauer Romeo8Hยฎ, etc.ย But, compatibility with the FASTโข FTC Magnifier Mount will be limited.
The FASTโข Riser comes standard with a rail-grabber clamp.ย A Flip-Up Offset Backup Rear Iron Sight module can be purchased separately.ย This feature will provide fast-transition BUIS capability to the FASTโข Riser.ย The Offset Rear Iron Sight Module is 100% compatible with existing Offset Front Sights such as those available from MAGPUL, Dueck Defense, Midwest Industries, and Knights Armament Company.
The FASTโข Riser is built from 7075-T6 Aluminum andย Type III Hardcoat Anodized Black or FDE*.

Honestly thought having a riser was just hype, but man was I wrong. Great build quality and shipped fast. Should have purchased one sooner.
Does what it says. –
Definitely makes ready ups and finding targets easier without having to crane your neck to get a good sight picture.
