Picked up the 1800-2000 FOM version. These come with NVT-7 tubes, SNR was over 30 on both and resolution was 64 for one and 68 for the other. If I mathed correctly it put both tubes at just over 2000 FOM. I have been pretty impressed so far, housing is extremely light so you donโ€™t need a ton of counterweight. In mixed lighting or with decent moonlight the image is really good. I also have gen 3 binos to compare to. Biggest difference Iโ€™ve seen so far is the gen 3s do better in really low light. Theyโ€™re also a few thousand more expensive if youโ€™re getting them new so decide how worth it that is for you. That being said these will work very well for the casual user. The only real complaints I have would be the lack of IPD stops, the housing is stiff enough they donโ€™t move much without them though so itโ€™s not horrible and my unit doesnโ€™t seem to like AA batteries. The CR123As work really well with it. All in all, these will do 90% of what youโ€™d want to do with them outside of LE/Mil applications and you can save a few grand. Worth it in my opinion.

i love it! i have the 1800-2000 FOM version and i can see great. i compared with a buddies gen 3 binos l3 in a MGA housing and while his were clearer out to a further distance, there wasn’t that huge of a difference. I did a night fire with them as well and they worked great! Custom Night Vision has provided me with fantastic customer service throughout the whole process too.
