FREE BATTERY PACK PROMOTION 11/13/2025 to 11/30/2025

The Aeon Night Vision Binocular (ANVB) is the newest night vision binocular on the market! ย This is just the housing – Click here if you are looking for a complete unit with tubes and optics.

The ANVB offers EVERY feature customers want – articulating manual gain with built in IR, IPD stops, independent pod on/off, external battery port and 5 year warranty including accidental damage for $999!

The skeletonized design features a single rotary switch for power that also serves as manual gain adjustment.ย  The Dual Focus IR illuminator is activated by pressing the power switch twice. ย The user can select between Flood and Spot when using the IR illuminator. ย Indicators in the viewing area alert the user if the IR illuminator is on, or if the unit senses a low battery condition.

The unit is powered by either an onboard 123 battery or auxiliary power from a battery pack using a Fischer style connector. The ANVB has an automatic system power cutoff whenever the ANVB is flipped up into the helmet mounted stow position, and then powers back on when it is flipped back down. This feature can be turned on or off depending on user preference.

Unlike the 1431 MK2, the pods automatically turn off when articulated up.ย  This feature prevents illumination on your helmet when one side is articulated up and ensures that the image intensifiers are โ€˜offโ€™ in the stowed position with the optical pods folded back against the helmet.

We offer five choices of Optics. ย Click each Link to purchase if needed for your night vision build.

  1. Standard Mil-Spec Optics โ€“ NVD Cage Code โ€“ These are the most popular and cost effective option. ย We have evaluated multiple optics and found these to be the best option for most of our customers. ย Weight: 4.5 ounces per set.
  2. Standard Mil-Spec Optics โ€“ Noctis (Formerly Carson) Cage Code โ€“ These are identical to our NVD Cage Code optics, but have the Cage Code of Noctis (Former Carson). Weight: 4.5 ounces per optic set.
  3. Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) 4.0 Ultralight โ€“ These are the most popular lightweight optic option. ย They offer increased performance and ~45% lighter than Standard Mil-Spec Optics. Weight: 2.4 ounces per optic set.
  4. Photonis Defense Boomslang 50 Degree FOV โ€“ Lightweight 50 Degree optic system. Weight: 3.5 ounces per optic set
  5. Act in Black 50-Degree FOV โ€“ 50 degree optic system offering minimal resolution loss. Weight: 4.7 ounces per optic set.

1 review for Aeon Night Vision Binocular ANVB – Manual Gain Articulating Binocular – Housing Only

Particulars about the ANVB housing. Power button/gain knob has a nice and stiff rotation. I like the physical design of it. Itโ€™s easy to find with its big open front. It spins freely in both directions with no stopping point. Gain is gradual and easy to control. Very little inward movement when you power on, very light click. Ir light is bright. Ir focus lens clicks into place and stays where you want it to. I really like the focus lens idea. IPD stops need to be screwed in a ways before they start to stick in place, but they work good. Battery cap is made of all plastic, including the threads. Have to be careful not to cross thread. It could definitely use more knurling for grip, but itโ€™s working okay. To get the unit to work the battery cap needs to be screwed on really tight to make contacts. Articulation is set at the correct stiffness and does not appear to be adjustable without breaking the seals on a pair of screws that would adjust that. Plastic body is simple in design. It leaves a little to be desired in the way of grip texture while articulating. But it is still all around great for the price.
