Well worth it. Works good, locks on tight. Great value for

Outstanding shipping. These days $799 for a laser illuminator combo with a factory warranty is tough to beat. I used a bore sight laser, 1mm grid paper, and NVG’s for a quick parallel zero at 10 meters, in the dark obviously. Performance is what I expected for a civi unit. Everything seems to work as advertised. Grab one up before they’re gone.

  3. A.H (verified owner)

Hard to beat this laser for the price, unless you want to but chinese. Its not the most advanced unit by todays standards but that can actually be a good thing. A lot of illuminators are over kill for CQB.

I wish I had spent more time researching Steiner’s Dbal products some eight to nine years ago when I made the mistake of buying the much less capable tween brother of the Dbal i2 (9007). Now that I have tested the 9007 model, I can say that this one is totally apt and capable of nighttime and total darkness performance without any drawbacks so long as the user understands that this Dbal limits performance beyond 200yards. For the money you just can’t complaint but if this is what you’re looking for act quickly because Steiner announced the discontinuation of model 9007. Purchasing from Custom Night Vision was a quick and simple affair, and they shipped my item quickly and as advertised.

It does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you are new to the world of night vision, don’t need the vis laser capability for doing a daytime zero, and stay in moderate to close range of target proximity, then this is the laser for you. The illuminator does well 100 yards and in. I’ve had pleasant experience with the laser at 200 yards. It was shipped to me fast and I can’t complain for the price. I’ll purchase from this company again.
