Housings are 3D printed and light weight. In My Opinion, these are best used with a all around lightweight housing. So bino or monopod light weight housing and glass to get the over all lightest package possible. Otherwise stick with the standard milspec units. When installed right, they work. I had 3 of these installed by CNV on to RVM14 housings and a Carson PVS14. Word of caution, CNV did not complete the install properly on one unit and when I adjusted it it came loose. I contacted them and they basically told me to fix it myself even though I paid them to do the install.
